A special Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian design!

“Impressive usonian design! The owners are very friendly and have many interesting stories about Frank Lloyd Wright and how the house was built! A must-visit place if you’re planning to travel to Northeastern Wisconsin!”

This is # 1 attraction in Two Rivers

“How this is not top-rated on Trip Advisor is ridiculous- this is a Frank L. Wright house! We had a great visit led by a docent and the owner of the home. About 20 people on our tour- no problem accommodating all of us. Read all the other reviews- then come and visit- a real thrill for architecture buffs  ”

Wonderful visit to an FLW "Dream House

“I toured this house while doing the Wright in Wisconsin trail. For $15, the owner himself gave us the tour. The interesting back story is that Frank Lloyd Wright published plans for a dream house in Life magazine, and the winning family couldn't get financing for his plan! Along came the Schwartz family, and they used the plans instead. The house is perfectly restored. It is available for tours, but also for rental! In fact, three of the other people on the tour were the lucky ones to spend the night. This house is in a neighborhood, so parking is tight, we stayed for around 2.5 hours, mostly because it is such a lovely property and the owner's stories about the house were so interesting. This is a must-do for FLW fans, anyone who likes interesting houses would enjoy the tour. I wouldn't bring very young kids.”

Incredible tour on a beautiful day

“Still Bend is a spiritual space created by an iconic and gifted architect. Michael shared personal stories about the Schwartz family and Mr. Wright. What an uplifting experience, exceeding all expectations. Thanks for sharing this glimpse into the incredible vision of FLW. ”

A Guided Tour By The Owner--It Doesn't Get Much Better

“We were in Wisconsin for my husband and son to play golf at Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI. Because Wisconsin was home to Frank Lloyd Wright and because my husband and I appreciate and admire his architecture, I Googled Wisconsin for FLW sites close to Kohler and discovered Still Bend. Still Bend, not ordinarily open for public tours, just happened to have public tours that weekend. We went on the website (to be reworked) and signed on.
We have traveled the country visiting homes and buildings built by Wright--from the Zimmerman House in NH to The Rosenbaum House in AL, to Auldbrass Plantation in SC to Cedar Rock, in IA to The Arizona Biltmore to Price Towers in OK and beyond. What was different about this tour is that we were encouraged to take our time and explore on our own and/or to be guided through the house by the current owner who provided historical background and answered questions regarding the property.
Of all the Usonian houses we have visited; Still Bend is the most spectacular. It showcases many of the trademark Wright features while incorporating the unusual --a separate dining space, a downstairs master bedroom, and a huge recreation room to list a few.

If you are lucky enough to be in the Two Rivers area when tours are available--GO.”

A Great Taste of Frank Lloyd Wright

“Our family enjoyed the tour of Still Bend very much. The owner Michael and his wife were very informative. The house has been well maintained and the owners are investing even more in restoration. They have visitors from all over the world doing overnights in the home.”

“My review is from 4 years ago when my partner & I, along with our friend were traveling up north to Illinois, Wisconsin & Michigan. We were always looking for FLW houses to visit & or just take pictures of. When we stopped by the one.  ”
